Maple Bank B&B is a magnificent detached Edwardian house, set in an acre of beautiful, enclosed gardens which Ann, The Head Gardener, has spent many happy hours transforming for you and our four-legged guests to enjoy.

Near the town of Keswick (2.6 miles), our dog-friendly B&B in the Lake District is a short walking distance to three pubs and country inns in the village of Braithwaite itself, a hotel/restaurant, two cafes and the Braithwaite village shop - all of which we know really well!

The bus stop to Keswick - a journey of less than 10 mins - is about 2 mins from the front door of the B&B, so leave your car and enjoy the ride.

We are right in the heart of the Lake District National Park and close to all of its many visitor sites.  Our cosy and welcoming dog-friendly bed-and-breakfast in Keswick is perfectly placed for walking, climbing, cycling and water sports, as well as visiting the many excellent visitor attractions Cumbria has to offer: Brantwood, Larch Cottage Nurseries, Hill Top and Aira Force, to name but a few.

Climb to the top of the garden to feast your eyes on our fabulous views across the Derwent valley, towards the lofty Skiddaw and its smaller neighbour, Latrigg.

Call us to book the best B&B room(s) to meet your needs, especially if you want more than one room for you, your family and friends.  We can also chat through our recommendations for pubs and restaurants or ideas of what to do during your stay.

Keep up to date with our news on Facebook and Instagram

We look forward to welcoming you to our home.
