If you feel a bit daunted by your first trip up a fell then why not book yourself a guide for the day?

Or if you fancy tackling something a bit more technical or want to go out and up in more testing weather conditions then a guide could take you up your first big fell?

Or perhaps you’re considering a full day out completing one of the Horseshoes or Rounds and fancy someone taking over the navigation for the day?

Having a guide is sometimes the best way to remove the worry on a big day out, or a new day out.  They charge a daily rate and normally have a maximum number of folks to a group.

Most guides will have their Mountain Leader qualifications, as well as First Aid.  They will also all have Personal Liability Insurance.

Here are some guides who you might want to consider. I have not been out with them all so please phone and chat with each of them to find the best person for you, discuss potential dates, size of your group and the price.

Please note that we do not receive any commissions from guides listed below and all arrangements and prices are agreed between yourselves and your guide directly.
